Apple One Sky Lounge by Blue Elephant in Cebu

If you are looking for a place to dine and hangout while in Cebu, you should try Apple One Sky Lounge by Blue Elephant. Few days ago, my friends and I were looking for a new place to dine aside from the usual restaurants in the mall or at Cebu IT Park. After a fun night we had, I can say that we made the right choice! Sky Lounge by Blue Elephant is on the 19th floor of Apple One Tower. Apple One Tower is conveniently located at Cebu Business Park, right beside Ayala Center Cebu and Marriott Hotel. Just look for a tall building with a huge apple logo and go straight up! :D

Anyway, when dining at Apple One Sky Lounge, you get to choose between al fresco dining at the roof deck or their indoor VIP lounge. They also have an indoor function room for private parties which can accommodate 50 people. During our visit, we chose to stay at their indoor VIP lounge incase of bad weather and for us to be able to take good photosss! :D What can you expect from an all-girls dinner out? Their indoor VIP lounge is cozy and I can say they have good interior design, furnishings and the area is just the right size. However, if you are someone who easily gets cold, I suggest you bring a cardigan or blazer with you!

If you go for al fresco dining, it’ll be a minimum of P300 per person (P200 per person for 9pm-12mn). Good thing about al fresco dining is that you can enjoy the city view and it is perfect for cold weather days! For the indoor VIP lounge, it’ll be a minimum of P350 per person (P250 per person for 9pm-12mn). They serve ala carte and most of the items in their menu are for sharing. They serve good Asian food (with items from Korea, Japan, Thailand and the Philippines) by Blue Elephant. For those who are not familiar with Blue Elephant, it is a Thai restaurant ran by Anthony Ballreich – the person behind Siam in Ayala Terraces and Krua Thai. I wasn’t able to take photos of our orders that night though because we were busy and hungry at the same time! Hahaha Aside from that, their food didn’t arrive on time. Though they have good food, nice place and ambiance, their service wasn’t so pleasing. :( There is still room for improvement though and I hope it’ll be better on my next visit.

If you plan to dine at Apple One Sky Lounge by Blue Elephant, they are open from 5pm ’til 12mn daily except on Fridays and Saturdays when it closes at 1am. For reservations and inquiries, you can reach them through this number +63 922 879 7955 because the last time I tried calling their landline, there was no answer. Lastly, for those who drive their own vehicles, you can park them on the 2nd or 3rd floor. Very convenient! :)

Hi Thanks for the review :) Atleast I do already have an idea about the place. Btw, how was the food? Does it taste like the one in siam? and how bout the serving? HOw many people can eat in one dish? Thanks! And please do EMAIL ME!! :)

      Hello, Frank!

The food is good! Somewhat similar to Siam since most of the items in their menu are Thai. Their dishes are mostly good for 2 to 3 people, perfect for sharing!
You should visit the place but make sure it’s not raining though because their indoor area can’t accommodate much.

hi :) is the P300/P350 charged for the ambiance? I am so curious about this dining cover charge. I’ll be waiting. thanks!

    • Jean Candice Yu  says:

Hello! Based on our visit, the P300/P350 is consumable for food/drinks however it will depend on the area, whether you’ll go for indoor (P350) or outdoor (P300) dining.

  • Mitch Mic  says:

If ever my orders would not reach to 300/350. Its there a chance that i will pay only for the prices of my orders?

    • Jean Candice Yu  says:

I guess you will still need to pay 300/350. I’m not sure if there are changes in their rules though because it’s been a long time since the last time I visited Apple One Sky Lounge. :)

  • Mitch Mic  says:

Is there a corkage in that place?

    • Jean Candice Yu  says:

      I guess so! :)

  • Nikka  says:

If ever we will go there around 7 pm and end like 10:00 pm. Is there a chance that we will pay 200/250?

    • Jean Candice Yu  says:

Hello Nikka! I believe they will charge you based on the time you’ll arrive but it’s best to ask them first once you get there just to make sure. :)

wow their service is really questionable… even the person answering their “reservations and inquiries” sounds lousy. “hello? uuhmm o, agh” really? thats a great way to greet people over the phone.

    • Jean Candice Yu  says:

Hello Noey! Really? Hope they’ll do something about it! :(
